A couple days ago, Blizzard began revealing their next big event celebrating the Chinese New Year and right off the bat, we got hit with a new a-mei-zing Mei skin and a new darling D.Va skin - both ladies decked out for the festivals of their respective countries. Today, an ad from China seemingly leaked four other skins that we'll likely see during the event next week.
The text on the ad is for a free week-long trial for "Overwatch" (which is the January 24th to January 31st date) and calls these the "Journey To The West" limited skins and ties the whole thing together with the "Year of the Rooster" event.
The most obvious of the skins is probably Winston, who is getting a Sun Wukong skin - better known in the West as the Monkey King. Next, we have Zenyatta with what looks like a Tang Sanzang skin - Sun Wukong's Buddhist master. Reinhardt looks to be getting a heavily-armored Sha He Shang skin and Roadhog is getting the pig-monster Zhu Bajie as a skin.
Already some are calling the ad a fake, and there hasn't been any word from Blizzard on the leak as of yet. Still, if it does turn out to be a fake, one has to admit that it certainly was created quickly and it's hard to argue that these skins don't belong in "Overwatch" - especially during this event.
