Team17 and indie dev Italic Pig have announced that fast-and-furious, action-adventure, platformer-puzzler "Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark", will be available for Xbox One and PS4 on the 13th May
Coming from the minds of the team behind the gritty, point and click trilogy Hector: Badge of Carnage and featuring A.J. LoCascio (known the voice of Marty McFly in Telltale Games’ Back to the Future). Part platformer, part puzzler, part explorer and part character adventure, Schrödinger’s Cat falls alongside is real world namesake, being many things and one all at the same time. "Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark" promises:
A DARK, DICHROMATIC, DEAD-&-ALIVE FELINE SUPERHERO
TASKED WITH DISENTANGLING THE ANTHROPOMORPHIC CHAOS OF THE PARTICLE ZOO,
IN A FAST-&-FURIOUS ACTION-ADVENTURE PLATFORMER-PUZZLER-PUNCH-UP OF SUBATOMIC PROPORTIONS.
Its not as complicated as it sounds. (well, maybe.) - ItalicPig
Your adventures will find you in ‘The Particle Zoo’, a catastrophic event that has allowed all of the primitive particles to escape! What used to be a cheery environment is now utter chaos, and not in the mathematical sense of the word. The Zoo is put into lockdown, and the prime-time emergency services are called in to sort it all out. It should take you long to guess who those emergency services are? Schrödinger’s Cat, you, the hero!
Schrödinger’s Cat won’t be going it alone, as you travel the levels trying to bring order to chaos you’ll combine and create a bundle of abilities with the help of your Quark allies to solve the problems you’re going to encounter. You’ve got 30+ levels of quirky gameplay and quirky art direction that should keep you entertained throughout.
"Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark" will be available to download for PS4 and Xbox One on Wednesday 13th May, while US PlayStation owners will be able to get their hands on the game on Tuesday 12th May.
