The release date for the Wii U version of "Shantae and the Pirate's Curse" has been revealed. According to the WayForward's website, the game will be coming out digitally on Christmas Day in North America with the European/Japanese to be announced later. The Wii U version will have HD and will support the Classic Controller Pro and the Wii U Pro Controller.
"Shantae and the Pirate's Curse" is also available on the Nintendo 3DS. A fourth installment in the "Shantae" series is already in development called "Shantae: Half-Genie Hero," which started out on Kickstarter and will be coming to PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
