Thanks to an Indiegogo campaign, we are receiving a sequel to an old game players have been clamoring for. "Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn" follows the hit fighting game "Shaq Fu" for the SNES. The fan support was surprising with 1,340 backers beating the goal of $450,000 by a little over $20,000.
"Big Deez Productions" will be at the helm of this new game with Shaq himself in tow. Now that the funds are there, the crew is excited to get started and are super excited to be working with Shaq, as well. They are also promising developer diaries to document the whole experience. "Big Deez" also supports its community, understanding that none of this would be possible without all the fans:
Our promise stands, this time we won't Fu it up.
Now we play the waiting game. "Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn" is slated for release on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and PC.
