Playtonic Games just released new new trailer for their game "Yooka-Laylee," where the titular character Shovel Knight will appear in the game.
The spiritual successor for the "Banjo-Kazooie" series featured many original characters in the new trailer. Near the end of the trailer, Shovel Knight appeared as a guest character, complete with fourth wall breaking. How Shovel Knight will be implemented into the game isn't known, whether he'll be a playable character, a companion, or a simple NPC isn't known (though they did mention NPC, but that can change).
"Yooka-Laylee" is set to release in the first quarter of 2017 for PC, Wii U, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
