As posted on the official Allison Road Twitter account, "Allison Road" has been cancelled, mirroring its spiritual successor "P.T./Silent Hills'" cancellation.
While "Silent Hills" was cancelled due to the falling out between Konami and Hideo Kojima, who was directing the game, the reason for "Allison Road's" cancellation is known as of this time. However, the team behind the game will release a statement in the next few days as to what happened.
There's a few things that may have led to "Allison Road's" cancellation. It could have been the team ran out of money or the team lost too many members to continue the project. "Allison Road" was slated to release sometime in 2016. Another possible reason is that Konami might have been involved and spoken legally to the team. "Allison Road" didn't have any known development issues. However, this is speculation until an official statement is issued as to what happened.
