Update The Rosalina amiibo will not be releasing to Target at all in Canada. According to Amiibo Inquirer, Nintendo will be distributing the amiibos to other retailers. United States Rosalina amiibos will still be Target exclusive, however.
The amiibo status continues to get more hectic as Target makes changes to its stores. Announced in Target's pressroom, Target is set to pull out of Canada and will shut down its 133 stores for profitability reasons.
So what does this mean the Rosalina & Luma amiibos, which were exclusive to Target in North America? There hasn't been an official statement on the Rosalina amiibos yet, but it could very well mean the stock will decrease significantly or be dropped all together for Canada. The only way for Canadians to get a Rosalina amiibo would be to import out of the country. The United States Rosalina amiibos, however, remain unaffected at Target.
The 3rd wave of amiibos will release in Japan first on Jan. 22-23 (the actual release to shelves for the amiibos is sketchy, as the 2nd wave was split between two weeks in Dec. 2014) and some time in February for North America.
