According to Shacknews, TellTale Games announced at San Diego Comic Con that their "Batman" series will have some form of multiplayer.
The multiplayer aspect will come in form of how others interact with your decisions. There's going to be an option for Crowd Play, which "generates a URL" for people to share in the room. When you play through the game yourself, there will be suggestions made by others by signing into the URL with a phone or other device. There's two options for this: one that simply lets the player continue as is and the other will allow for majority's favor.
While on a regular playthrough by yourself, this may not be such a big deal. However, for those who livestream or with a large group of people, this could make for an interesting experience to see how other people's decisions force the game, which may or may not be in favor of the player.
The first episode of TellTale's "Batman" series, "Realm of Shadows," will release digitally on August 2, 2016 with a physical release with the season pass on September 13.
