TellTale Games has announced when the first episode for their "Batman" series will release.
Now the first episode doesn't have a definitive release date just yet, but it will release sometime in August. However, the physical copy of the game will release on September 13, 2016 (September 16 for those in Europe), so it'll release sometime before that date. The physical copy will come with a season pass so you can download the rest of the episodes when they release.
They're holding back the digital release date for the game as they're going to debut the trailer alongside the release date at San Diego Comic Con 2016. A special bonus for those who are attending on July 23 will get to see the first episode play out with Troy Baker (voicing Batman in this iteration) and host Greg Miller. The audience will be encouraged to shout out decisions that will impact Batman/Bruce Wayne's actions. If this event is only a few moments of the episode or the full episode isn't known at this moment nor if the footage will be shown outside the event.
