Officially announced at E3, during a panel at PAX West this year, we got a few more details about the upcoming game "The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" by Telltale Games. This is another sequel in the wildly popular "The Walking Dead" series that Telltale Games has been producing - the third one that will heavily feature Clementine, who at this point, is much more mature. Like the previous games, "A New Frontier" will have five episodes in the season.
The players will be responsible for two characters in "A New Frontier." The fan favorite, Clementine, of course but also a newcomer to the series named Javier. Both have their own goals and secrets, and want to do anything in their power to keep themselves and their families alive. Kevin Boyle, executive producer at Telltale, said that through Javier, we will be able to "unravel the mystery of who Clementine has become" - likely indicating that there are dots for us to connect between "The New Frontier" and where we last left her in "The Walking Dead: Season 2."
"This third new season will serve as both a continuation of what's come before in our story, as well as an all-new beginning set nearly four years after the outbreak events of Season One. As a harrowing and horrific drama, 'A New Frontier' will explore beyond what it means to survive in a world ravaged by the undead, and will see our characters confronting the new rules of order and justice in a land being brutally reclaimed and rediscovered by what's left of humanity itself."
Kevin Bruner, Telltale Games CEO
"The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" is due out this November, and willl available on PC, Mac, Playstation 4, XBox One and mobile platforms.
