After first being announced at E3 in 2009, Team Ico's "The Last Guardian" finally has a release date. Mark your calendars: October 25 of this year. At the E3 conference this year, they also released another trailer that shows off some of the long-awaited title's cinematics and gameplay.
Based on what they provided us here, we may have gotten a taste of some of the story that we're going to play through with "The Last Guardian" - most obviously the fact that there actually seems to be more than one of the giant dog-bird creatures and they may not be as nice as the one we spend most of the game with. The game definitely promises to tug on some heartstrings.
"The Last Guardian" is due for release on October 25, 2016 (knock on wood) on the Playstation 4.
