Speaking with Turkish CNN, Sony's Eurasian Software Market Manager Sercan Sulun mentioned a rerelease of 2013's "The Last of Us" is set for PS4 this summer.
As translated by IGN, Sulun said, "There is no information about a new 'The Last of Us' game but I can share this knowledge; as of this summer, 'The Last of Us' will be on the PS4. Both on PSN and physically." Furthermore, Sulun confirmed the PS4 release will also feature the "Left Behind" DLC.
Despite this massive news, Sony or Naughty Dog has yet to officially confirm the reports. Keep an eye on Player Theory for updates as they arrive.
"The Last of Us" was a commercial and critical success for 2013, smashing sales records and reviewing well universally. You can check out our review of the game here and what we thought of the "Left Behind" DLC here.
