Qwilt.compolled all of the streaming sites online to find out the number one source of streaming media and announced that Twitch took the top spot by nearly half. Over 71 million people watched competitive gaming last year on Twitch, and that number continues to grow.
Twitch also made the top five in most countries other than the US, as well. This is a great push for the scene of e-sports, helping the communities grow more and more each year. According to the break down of Qwilt.com's data, Twitch received over three times the amount of streaming viewers as both ESPN.com and MLB.com combined!
Twitch is a great way to keep up with gaming, not just in a competitive sense but also to see new titles as they release being played live. As gamers, we all have Twitch to thank for making our presence known and getting our great communities out there. If for some reason you haven't checked it out yet, now is your chance. Hit up Twitch, and go check out some awesome new games. Let's help keep them in the top spot.
