According to Kotaku AU, Valve was found guilty when the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) sued them back in 2014.
The ACCC filed a lawsuit stating that Valve violated Australian Consumer Law by having a 'no refund policy' (back in 2014). Originally, Valve argued that they didn't do business in Australia, but the Australian federal court found that Valve has done business by selling goods to the country. This time around, goods also include "computer software."
A hearing for the case is set to happen on April 15 to discuss what is believed to be "potential relief."
