The level 90 character boost Blizzard promised with "Warlords of Draenor" the next expansion for "World of Warcraft" to be released this fall, arrived today.
Players receive the boost when they pre-purchase the “Warlords of Draenor” expansion pack – either with the standard upgrade ($49.99 USD) or the “Digital Deluxe” version ($69.99 USD) – for a character of their choice. The level boost can be applied to either new characters or currently existing ones, but toons level 60 selected for level 90 get maxed professions, as well.
The “Digital Deluxe” pre-purchase includes additional rewards for your Battle.net account: dread raven mount and hatching pet in “World of Warcraft,” Hellscream and Blackhand portraits in “Starcraft,” and a Warsong pennant in “Diablo III.”
“Warlords” is expected to hit stores and the online shop around late fall, but the game is promised no later than Dec. 20.
