After an unfortunate leak revealing information a tiny bit too early, Ubisoft officially revealed "Watch_Dogs 2" to the world, with several trailers accompanying the announcement.
As the leak revealed, the game will take place in San Francisco with a new protagonist. Now we know that the new protagonist is named Marcus Holloway, a victim wronged by an algorithm that predicts crime (something like "Minority Report?"). Unlike Aidan Pearce, the protagonist before, Marcus has more parkour abilities and mobility at his disposal. That, and he seems to be a bit more lively in personality (in terms of what was shown anyways). Marcus is also with a group of hackers, Dedsec, who are against the "Big Brother" antagonist group called ctOS 2.0, who want to abuse technology for control.
For the gameplay, it appears that Ubisoft is building upon the hacking element of "Watch_Dogs," as Marcus is capable of doing more of the hacking easily than before. Marcus can hack just about any car and use more personal devices such as a tiny RC car or a drone. The world is also more reactive and "alive," where certain actions will get more realistic reactions to what was done, such as a dog barking at something strange or out of the ordinary and chasing after it. Multiplayer of some sort is coming, where you get to either be friendly with one another or gunfight.
As the leak revealed, "Watch_Dogs 2" will be coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One November 15, 2016.
