Recently posted on the Nintendo Support Page, there is a Nintendo Wii U update available. In this update, Amiibo settings for the figures can be found under System Settings, and stability has been given some improvements.
The Amiibo figures are not available for the public just yet. The first batch are scheduled to release alongside "Super Smash Bros. for Wii U" in North America on Nov. 21, while Europe will get them on Nov. 28.
