In what may be one of the worst kept secret prior to E3, at their conference today, Bethesda officially announced "Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus" and while the secrecy around this project may have been...flawed, if the trailer is any indication, then the game itself should be something to behold. Check it out below:
From the trailer, we learn that the protagonist from "The First Order," B.J. Blazkowicz, survived and has been brought back to create a revolution to free the United States from the Nazi regime currently occupying it. The trailer gives us a taste of everything - the humor, the over-the-top technology and weapons the series is known for and, of course, more than a little bit of violence. "Wolfenstein 2" will have the player going all over the country to recruit resistance leaders to help spark the second American revolution, and, if time permits, kill as many Nazis as possible.
"Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus" is set for release on October 27th of this year, on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
