North American PlayStation 4 and Vita owners will finally get to play “World of Final Fantasy” on October 25 of this year, according to a Square Enix announcement today.
The newest title in the “Final Fantasy” franchise, “World of Final Fantasy” is equipped with classic role-playing game mechanics and “toy-like visuals” to appeal to series veterans and newcomers alike. Set on the land of Grymoire, players will follow the journey of twins Reynn and Lann, where they will cross paths with various opponents and creatures across the entire “Final Fantasy” realm.
Square Enix also released a new English trailer for the game, just in time for E3. See your favorite “Final Fantasy” heroes in chibi form here:
According to Square Enix, players who pre-order the day one edition of the game “will receive the legendary Sephiroth as a summon … in battle.” European players will only need to wait three days after the North American release before they can also start their adventure in Grymoire. It was not made clear as to whether Europe will get the same day one pre-order bonus.
