Another Retro track is brought to life in "Mario Kart 8." This time, it's Yoshi's Circuit from the tag-team racer "Mario Kart: Double Dash" on the Nintendo GameCube. Announced on Nintendo's YouTube page (Japanese language), the track is brought back in HD.
Yoshi's Circuit is just one of eight tracks in the "The Legend of Zelda X Mario Kart 8" DLC Pack, releasing sometime in November. The "Zelda" Pack includes Link, Tanooki Mario, and Cat Peach as playable characters, the Blue Falcon from the "F-Zero" series, the B Dasher from "Mario Kart DS," the Master Cycle from "The Legend of Zelda," and the Tanooki Buggy as cars, and eight new tracks.
The other DLC Pack is the "Animal Crossing: New Leaf X Mario Kart 8," coming out sometime in May 2015. The "Animal Crossing" Pack features Villager, Isabelle, and Dry Bones Bowser as new playable characters.
